Displaced, on your trip up north, here are a few places that we have stayed at.
When you get to Connecticut, stop at Mohegan Sun Casino. They have a huge RV lot and a free shuttle every 15 minutes to and from the front door to your RV.
Massachusetts: Normandy Farms is a great campground but usually full. Located West of Boston and Very close to Patriots Place and Gillette Stadium.
Near Newburyport, you will be happy with Beach Rose. There are a bunch of CG's nearby, but not as nice. Beach Rose has 50 sites, All RV sites. The owner cooks a big lobster dinner (for a fee) but worth it on either friday or saturday. You will be close to the beaches.
When you get to Maine, there are plenty of campgrounds in Wells and Old Orchard Beach. We stay ay Bayleys in OOB every year. If you go further North, I can't give you any suggestions
