Richmond VA on I-64 over to I-81

Have to leave south Texas probably Monday Feb 26th I will have to cross I-64 from Richmond VA to I-81 anyone that travels that know there are some high mountains do they usually keep it dry in the winter anyone know if there is snow in this area now?

You’ll be fine. You’ll cross Afton Mountain on I-64, which isn’t very high elevation. The current forecast for that area for the 26th through the 29th is highs in the 60s and lows above freezing.
When it does snow, VDOT is on it immediately.
