Routing option thru South Carolina

Thinking to travel Hwy 9 from North Myrtle Beach, SC to Spartanburg, SC pulling a 30 ft TT. Im in no hurry, just want to stay away from I 20 & I 26. Any experiences or concerns? Thanks in advance.

From N MB, Hwy# 9 is probably the best route. Lots of 4 lane that route.

Staying off any interstate, I will propose another option.

Hwy 22 to 76/501 to E. Old Marion Hwy at Florence. Go straight instead of turning onto 327 onto Ashby Rd until it ends on Cashua. Take Cashua to Hwy# 52(couple ways you can achieve that from Ashby to 52. staying on the main streets might be best). 52 to 151 in Darlington. Hwy 34 cuts off 151 about halfway between Darlington and Hartsvile. Follow 34 thru Bishopville, Camden, Lugoff, Ridgeway, etc. all the way past I-77 & I-26 to Newberry and then take 76 to 221 which leads into Spartanburg.

Problem is that you will be travelling parallel to 20 & 26 within less than .25 mile in places and it will take a LOT longer.
AND, the roads are likely no better than the current state of disrepair they are all in even considering the construction on 26.
