This is our first year of RVing in retirement. Our plan was to find a break in the Michigan weather after the first of the year (and Christmas with the kids/grandkids) to travel to warmer places. We are thinking of heading south for a few weeks and have been invited to spend a week in March on a gulf coast beach in a condo. Is it difficult to find a place to park/store a 25 foot trailer for a week in Florida? Are there parks with storage space or U-store-it places that don't charge an arm and a leg for short term storage?
We are just looking at our options for driving down or leaving the camper home and flying...
Check with the park you plan on staying at, most have onsite storage which is reasonable. The resort we are at has a large storage area to accommodate all types of storage.

I see RV storage places all over the place. I can't imagine it's hard to find somewhere to store the rig.
As mentioned, I'd contact the place you're going and see if they have somewhere that you could tuck it out of the way.
