Suggestions for Vermont

Spending this rainy day surfing the web to see if the Lake Champlain area has a weeks worth of stuff to do and a campground to set up in. Any suggestions??

We love the Burlington area. We have spent time up there with and without a TT. There are plenty of campgrounds. We have stayed at the town owned North Bay Campground.

Is there enough there for you to do? That depends on what you like to do. There is a large network of bike trails, lake activities, nice road day trip roads, and beautiful views of the Adirondack mountains that lie on the other side of the lake. You are about 3 hours from fantastic Montreal, Canada.

Who will you be camping with and what specific things do you like to do?

Perhaps Winhall Brook, near Jamaica. An absolute gem of a quiet semi secluded campground but no full hooks ups, some sites with water and electric. Army Corp Campground. All the little towns around it look like a Christmas card picture. An hour and a half south of the area you're looking at.

You would have to check though, it was flooded last year and I haven't followed the status. The last time that happened back around 2009 it was closed for quite awhile. It's in the upper end of a flood control reservoir pool and when it gets backed up that far its bad, like the entire campground under 20'-30' of water.
