Sweet Water Forest Family Camping Resort

Has anyone ever heard of this CG? Any feedback positive or negative would be helpful.

Thanks,

I don't know of the campground your asking about, but I did a search on RV Park Reviews :: Home and found this one; RV Park Reviews :: Brewster, Massachusetts ( MA ) - RV Parks and Campground Reviews

We stayed at Sweetwater 2 years ago and had no problems. Nicely wooded campground right in the centre of the Cape. Facilities were clean and the owners seemed very friendly.

We are in the planning stages of a Cape Cod trip for a couple of weeks this summer. Debateing going back to Sweetwater or to Cape Cod Campground.

SWF campground, Brewster, Mass

We love Sweetwater and stay there 2 times a year. They are about a mile in the woods off the main road. It is very quite at night. The sites are wooded and a nice distance from your neighbor. They are very pet friendly as we have always brought our two beagles. I have teens(girls) so they do their own thing. The other thing I like is they are close to the Cape Cod Rail (Bike Trail) which is paved and is an easy ride. There are plenty of food stops on the way so you don't always have to pack a lunch. We enjoy the ice cream. We do take a car ride into P-town at the tip of the Cape it is about a 30 minute drive, again the dogs go with us as the town is pet friendly and welcomed in most all stores. When we need a break we take them to the beach off the main road by the pier. We love going to Cape Cod as there is so much to do or if you just want some down time the campgrounds provides that for us.

When we have been there the bugs are not bad, but the sites we stay at are not near the pond so I guess that makes a difference. If you have a camper over 24 feet you can't be by the water anyways. What does catch me of guard at night and into the early morning hours are the coyotes. You hear them howling in the distance, but we have never had any problem in camp.
