Sweetwater Forrest

I am looking for reviews from anyone familiar with Sweetwater Forrest Campground on Cape Cod. Considering a week long stay at the end of July. We are 2 seniors and bringing bicycles and kayaks so i know the area will have plenty for us to do.

Thanks in advance
Coney

Thanks, coney! I would appreciate that. What type of site will you be looking for - full or partial hookups?

We are only going to be there for four nights so we took a water and 30 amp electric site.
I do have a 22 gallon Barker tote, which I only use for gray water. so we should be good. Friends who own a summer Home on the cape have told us that this is a great central location on the cape

Yes, it's a great location! We live in western MA and make it to the Cape every summer. Be aware, the traffic on Rt. 6 is very heavy during the summer season.

Bring bikes if you have them! The rail trail can take you up the arm of the Cape and runs near some interesting places to nose around like Eastham, Truro and Wellfleet. We also like to spend a day in Provincetown. Very interesting shops and places to eat.

I highly recommend the beaches on the Cape Cod National Seashore. Our favorite is Marconi Beach but you can't go wrong with any of them.

Have a great stay and let us know what you think.

Cheers!

We have never stayed at Sweetwater, but another CG nearby that you may like is Atlantic Oaks. It's right on the Bike trail in Eastham.
