Yikes! It was $50 two years ago, which I thought was outrageous at that point.

Unless I have to be some where at a given date, We will take the state roads. Lots to see and do.
There are ways to get around the bridge tolls into NY.

Years ago on a trip to Disney, we were heading down the Interstate in FL. and I decided not to take the Toll Road and got off the interstate. I was following a truck with a flat bed trailer hauling a large liquid tank that stayed on the interstate. We headed down the two lane till we got passed the Toll road and got back on Interstate. As I was coming down the On ramp, I saw the same truck and trailer pass just as I was getting ready to merge. So I guess it wasn't any faster to stay on the Toll road as we did make a "Pit" stop for snacks and rest rooms. The truck with trailer may have done the same.

Don't go on the 407 in Ontario. To travel 60 km with truck and fifth wheel it will cost you $240.00 without transponder. With transponder it drops to $195.00.
Never again. Even when I emailed and received a rate quote they said $42.00 but when disputed they dropped it to $50.00 when I complained.
