I'm jealous- we stayed at the Thousand Trails park down there. I woulda loved to spend some time at Fort Wilderness. Maybe next time!

Yes, but only because I keep a spreadsheet of all of our trips with dates, site number and notes. It was site D-156:

It was fairly narrow back there with vegetation on both sides. Our slide pushed into the plants on the side (they were pretty tall). We let in a couple of palmetto bugs and when we stopped in Georgia for the night, a frog hopped out onto the floor from under the sofa! I figure he rode the slide in when I closed it up.

A small tidbit of data for Fort Wilderness. You can call 8 days before and request a specific circle and campsite. 100, 200, 300 are within easy walking distance of the store, boat to MK, restaurant.

We are apparently Disney fanatics. We went on our honeymoon and met a couple who honeymooned there and were on their (something high) anniversary. I want to say 50th, but I don't know that the math works out (we married in 2001- was Disney World around in 1951?

Anyway, we went then and then again a when my wife was preggers and again two or three times when our daughter was little and then again when wife was preggers again and finally for Christmas this last year.

Each time I say "I'm Disney'd out, but I'm right there with her talking and planning the next trip!"

Though, seriously- never at Christmas again!

Man, you were in the boonies. We have always stayed in E, F or G for the last 6 winters.

Yup. By choice - it was the only tree'd area that I knew of from the map. We liked it back there. I had a love/hate relationship with the vegetation - it caused some woes and made parts of the actual site a little narrow, but it gave privacy between the sites. If I had to do it again, I'd go back there again unless I needed 50amp service (aka, summer/heat and needing both A/Cs).

Well, just got back yesterday. Made my circle neighbors laugh trying to back my 5er into my space in Possum Path, still trying to master that skill. The CG was beautiful, spent a lot of time at the pool. Took the ferry to MK a few times, got caught in a squall on the lake (what a blast). Rented the golf cart to tool around the CG, way cooler than driving. The parks were swamped for the most part, although we did luck out at Epcot one day, don't think we waited more than ten mins for any ride except the Test Track. Animal Kingdom was a zoo , so was Hollywood Studios. Now I need a vacation from my vacation!
