Weekend at Matinak SP

Spent the weekend at Martinak SP on the Eastern Shore of Maryland at their electric only RV B loop. They have about 30 sites, a brand new bath house, dump station and available water. The sites were large and mostly private. Some more than others. We were in site 26. Our group also had sites 25 and 27. The rangers were very diligent in their rounds but made it clear to us that they didn't care about the adult beverage (none) in state park rules as long as we were not "flaunting it". Out of site out of mind. They had that crappy eastern shore pine wood for sale for $4 a bundle. Bring plenty of bug spray! The park is right on the Chop Tank with easy access for boats and kayaks. It was way too hot for me to put my kayak in though. It was much nicer to simply sit in the shade with my lab sipping cold beer and reading a book.
