2008 Ford Explorer new shocks?

I've got over 70K miles on my 2008 Ford Explorer. Reviewed my maintenance file, never replaced the shocks on this. No sag towing when using the WDH. IF I were to replace them, what would be your recommendation?
If I find a good vehicle, I tend to keep it until it is no longer cost effective to maintain. Should I just wait till I or my mechanic detect a problem with them?
Tried searching various Explorer forums but the search engines were useless for me.

you can tell if your shocks are going by by pushing down hard on the bumper if it bounces a couple times or feels very soft you need new shocks , if it doesn't then you're probably fine .

If you like the ride go with bilstein 4600. If you want a little more damping use bilstein 5100.

X2 on the 4600. Have a 2010 150 4x4 screw. Swapped out at 85000. The ride is nicer, but I dont run raised on a large tires, just 20 michs. 90% road, the rest wet turf and boat ramps. Now the jeep is a different story...
