2009 Toyota Highlander 2.7 liter

Purchasing the rockwood 1940ltd popup camper trailer, around 1500# dry weight. Wife's Toyota Highlander 2009 2.7 liter has a frame hitch and transmission cooler package, I believe the gvtr weight is 2900#. Sounds very doable. Any add-ons or good to go? Great site! I welcome any suggestions or info!

We had the V6 3.5 litre and pulled a hybrid. It was at its limit at 4000 lbs but it did the job.

This is the 4 cylinder version I believe, you will be OK I suspect, watch your payload as this is a pretty big vehicle for that engine.

Thank you, miatared! I know my '04 GMC Sierra 5.3 lt v-8 will be just fine; I pulled my 16' duckboat and trailer with her car and that was fine but of course much lighter than the 1940 rockwood.
