2010 Ford F350 SWR sway

I have a 10 350 longbed crewcab 4x4 and tow a HG 356qb (42.5). I noticed my dads 13 350 has a factory rear sway bar while installing his airbags. As our 5ers are way different its hard to compare the benifit.

Has anyone installed an aftermaket rear sway bar and if so was it worth it, what benifits did you see in overall towing.

I will be adding bags soon and am considering going to a trailair pinbox.

Does your truck not have the factory away bar? With the tow package it should have one. If you don't have one it may be cheaper to kick around salvage yards and see if you can find one and it should bolt right up. They are all set up for them it's just a matter of whether or not it was added on as an option at the factory. My truck has one and I have the same 5er and it tows like a dream. The only complaint I have is I think it is time for some shocks on the truck because it seems to bounce a bit more than it it did a year ago and concrete expansion joints on the highway are a bit rough.

I have a 2010 F350 DRW long bed crew cab truck and it does have a sway bar in the rear. This truck pulls my 40' 5er like a dream, in fact you have to keep reminding yourself that the 5er is back there.

The sway bar is part of the camper package not the tow package

For sure dont have one, i purchsed the truck used and have been slowly upgrading everything. Replaced all the oem ranchos with bilstien 5100 before our disney trip, after the MI trip i decided to add airbags in the near future, but after looking into a resr sway bar, i found multiple aftermarkwt like the hellwig for reasonable prices. Just curious if it will be worth the addition or how much difference was noticed

When I ordered my 3005 F-350 SRW I opted for front and rear sway bars. I think one came with the tow package, the other was a separate charge. I pull a 14,000 lb Cardinal and pulls like a dream. If I was missing the rear bar I would try to obtain one at a wreaking yard.
