2011 Cherokee 27BHSR

Hi Folks,

Recently bought a used (new to me) 2011 Cherokee 27BHSR. Its located a few hundred miles away and the previous owner will not provide the hitch weight even after asking for it. Any ideas on what this unit would run for hitch weight? Dry weight is 5327lbs, GVWR is 7756lbs. I have heard between 10 and 15% of dry weight for a rule of thumb however with my tow vehicle (2012 Expedition EL w/ HD tow package) that difference makes a big dent into my cargo capacity and is the difference between taking two vehicles or not when I hit the road.

Many thanks :-)
