2015 Wildcat recommended tire PSI

Hi,

We have a 2015 Forest River Wildcat w 16" rims and would like to know where I can find the trailer's recommended PSI.

I know the tire's max PSI but need to know what is recommended for the trailer.

Thanks!!

The sidewall and what is on the placard on the side of the trailer should have the same max pressure. If they don't, run the max that is on the sidewall.

Thanks for the reply,

What I'm reading online for tire pressure tells me to use the vehicle's placard as opposed to the tire's rated max psi. Similar to my truck, our dealer uses the truck's placard even though the sidewall psi has a higher pressure rating. Do you know where the placard is for the 2015 Wildcat ?

there should be a placard on the side of the trailer with the axle ratings tire size and pressure. Should look like this : http://www.clemstrailersales.com/rv/...wildcat+312bhx 9th picture in

I run my 16" E tires on my Wildcat at 80psi. It keeps it pretty solid feeling in the wind. Last winter I had 30-40 mph side winds thru New Mexico and it held it fine.

Your placard should be a yellow and white sticker on the driver's side near the propane door.

BTW, I'm taking it for granted you bought this fifth wheel new.

I always run the sidewall max.....when I got my Windjammer last year, the C-load was 50#.....as soon as I replaced them with E-load....I upped them to the max of 80#. I don't feel the least bit doubtful that it's wrong to do that.

My Wildcat 295rsx with 16" Maxxis 8008s came from the factory at 80psi. When the dealer had the tire store balance them, they topped them off back to 80psi. Thats cold pressure. I run TSI monitors and when hot they get up as high as 93psi when temp hits 102F. Just finished a 2600 mile trip that included Moab in the desert and Pagosa Springs in the mountains. No issue, handled like a dream. Wear still looks even.
