LOL, I said current Ram 2009-2018, not this 2019 "ram". Don't get me started on Ford...

Just coming up on 65K miles.

The last vestiges of that ground breaking design are now gone. I'm old enough to remember when they came out in 94. It shocked the industry and instantly made all other trucks obsolete, styling wise. Ford followed with the redesign their Super Duty to copy the big rig look.

Not so with this new "Ram". Ram is now neutered. They better hit it out of the park with truck specs or its likely game over for the underdog.

Yep, the 1/2 Ram needs to get their specs upgraded.
The 5.7 Hemi isn't the issue, it's the soft suspension and terrible payload capacities.

Looks fine, it just needs to be fresh so you can tell it's a different truck. There is only so much you can do with a pickup, a cab, a bed, and something hanging over the motor. I personally think the 2002-2005 style was the best looking especially with the sport package.

I'm also reading on the allpar forum from the insiders, this is a pretty basic/mid level truck seen the the spy photos. They say the "game changer" part of the next Ram will be it's fuel economy.

Yep, that's why when I got my 2015 Cummins I couldn't part with my 2003 Hemi, it's a sexy truck!

I really don’t care what any of them look like. All I know is my ‘94 5.9L 1500 went over 280,000 miles and my ‘03 CTD went 340,000 miles. Other than regular scheduled maintenance neither one gave any problems at all. Have a ‘15 1500 and ‘17 Aisan dually now and if I need to replace either one it will be another Ram...regardless of style.

Ford tail lights. Combination of Chevy, GM and Ram front end. This truck has lost its individuality. It's no longer set apart from the rest. FCA doesn't understand the character of the RAM truck. I suspect they will lose sales to Ford and GM. I can only hope that this isn't the final design.

The "Not even close to the best looking!" was aimed at the current 2009-2018 models.

They are way behind Ford in the looks department but then again they always have been.

Mmm Kay... Please give me what you are smoking! The toaster look doesn't do it for me, but to each his/her own!

BTW, you own last years F150, its already changed. New trucks are in a race to be the ugliest now...

2018 F150:

Hurry, run to your nearest Ford dealer and give them more money! (its what they want)

Ford's design language is (=). With chrome, its a shiny toaster.

Sadly though, it looks better than the 2019 "Ram"

I agree with Baboloo: Looks like it got tangled with a Toyota Tundra and the Tundra ended up on top.

Any more, all the cars look the same. Can't tell who they are made by any more. Why should the trucks be any different?

I like it!! Looks more modern and updated. New models usually take time to grow on me, but I like the changes.

Glad I have my '09 Ram 1500. Still love the look of this truck and I don't use it anymore to tow an RV, so towing cap doesn't matter to me.

Happy to stay with our 2011 Ram. More guts, less glitter. I want a Ram that looks like a truck.
