2019 Ram 1500 Revealed

http://www.autonews.com/article/2017...-face-for-2019

Where is the "Ram"?

Glad I have my 4th Gens, get one while you can. No truck is safe from the ugly stick now...

I think the styling is a brave move. I'm personally tired of the "He Man" macho styling that every brand is trying to sport right now.

Yeah I agree I like the look of my 4th generation Bighorn model better (Black Truck Pic). I don't care much for the look of the current limited edition especially the tailgate I think it's to ostentatious with that giant RAM emblem and the front grill just looks to busy.

I think the front end of this new Ram, along with every other truck is too busy. Nothing about it sets it apart.

Even if it has best in class truck specs, I don't see myself owning one.

Argue if you want, the current Ram is the best looking truck. Its clean design flows and looks classic like a proper truck, RAM tailgate badge and nostril grill aside. The current Ram increased sales by 3% this year so far, 9 year old design notwithstanding.

Second best would be a properly optioned GMC Sierra.

Huge mistake by FCA...

Thank God they are getting away from the tractor trailer look. Keeping my fingers crossed Ford will follow suit. I could not believe when Dodge first changed the look and Ford followed suit!

Its time for a change present truck is looking tired and can hardly tell the difference in model years. 2 years ago I was considering buying one but I was looking for a body change did not happen so passed. Limited addition looks good but to pricey. Later RJD

That is not the *Official* release, TFL had those same pictures a month ago.
It may be the finished product, but with the official launch not scheduled until January it may still change.... I hope..

X2 on my second choice after the current Ram in order are the GMC, Chevy, Ford. 3/4 and 1 ton series.

The other thing I don't care for in any of the truck brands in the monochrome bumpers especially the front bumper...We had a black Chevy Silverado with the black front monochrome bumper with stones and road debris hitting it started looking bad...In my opinion the chrome looks and holds up better.

As a Ford owner, clearly I am biased, but I like the way the Ford looks. With the 2018 F150s, I have my order in for one with the Sport grill. I cant stand the way the other 4 grill's look, though it seems to be very popular. I also like the way the Chevy/GMC looks. With the right combo of options I couldn't really pick one of those 3 over the other from a visual perspective. After that, I am not impressed with the visual appearance of the Tundras or Rams. I would probably lean Tundra if I had to choose one, and this "new" Ram just further confirms that. My personal opinion, and this will ruffle feathers of the Nissan guys, but the Titan is just awful.

I still like the Ford's before the change in 2004. I like the looks of my Sport 2001 F150!

The more things change ...

... the more we continue to like our Old-Skool '98.

The black grille deliberately replaces the chrome one, much less pretentious looking. The mirrors are factory. The Butt-Ugly $100 Craigs-List topper is what it is, but has proven quite effective at keeping the riff-raff away, and it does keep the rain off the wood.

Just coming up on 65K miles.

Not even close to the best looking.

The new one looks so much like a Chevy in the front it isn't even funny.
