I need to buy a drop-down hitch and need the measurement from the ground to the Hitch receiver on my Sunseeker 2420. It is currently covered and parked in an uneven/sloped driveway. Does anyone know the height from the center of the hitch receiver to the ground for this model - 2019 Forest River Sunseeker 2420?
If it helps …….My 2018 24 ft SS recvr sits at 14". I use a riser to raise mine to 19" for a level tow. ( I tow a utility trailer as well as a dingy on all 4 )
IMO, If you use a drop, I think you will scrape it on most driveway aprons and non level campsites. I plan to add a set of air bags with on board compressor to raise my unit 2"-4" as needed for driveway clearance etc .
All these number might change an inch or so as you load/unload your MH.
