29ft TT tow with 1500 8 spd 3.21 gears

Towed My 29ft TT 6500 dry weight. Blue ox WD N*SWAYBAR. Truck is 1500 8 spd with 3.21 gears.*

Truck pulled it well. Downhill slope usually ran*7th*gear. Inclines ran mostly 6th some steeper long inclines had to use 5th but not alot. I have a large hill by my house for a mile n had to use 4th a lil but i expected that.*Gear huntingwas not a problem on interstate. Back roads seemed to switch between 5th n 6th alot so i locked out 6th n towed in 5th at an appropriate speed in that gear Avg speed was 55-60mph. My dad was driving behind me n was surprised how well the truck pulled it with no sway. I will still install airlift 1000 airbags for a little extra rear support. Avg 12 mpg. Temps were great.*

One thing very surprising was how fast the 3.21 gears got it up to speed. 1st gear is really steep n gets a load moving fast. Can't complain. I was thinking about biting the bullet n trade in on a 2500 but after today I'm gonna keep it n drive sensibly.
