31KQBTS Towing

Hello,

I've been towing my 2019 trailer around with 3/4 ton SRW and fastway e2 wdh hitch. I have been curious what others have for tow vehicles and hitch setups. My weight
numbers are good just mainly concerned with sway. It pulls good just get the occasional tail wagging from downhills or passing tractor trailers. (Maybe I should keep my foot off the gas pedal) I know this trailer is a giant box for a bumper pull....

IMHO, it was a big mistake getting the E2. It's fine for smaller trailers but easily overwhelmed with a long TT like your 36 1/2ft TT.
With only 2 points of sway control, you should have gone with its big brother, the 4pt Equal-i-zer.

I feel like I could never get the hitch set 100% and the bars are just wearing a groove unevenly on the tongue brackets. Maybe this hitch isn't really made for a 6" tongue as stated? I'd upgrade to the equalizer if others can attest to it working great on these longer trailers. Wife doesn't like a thrill ride on the interstate.
