I was tired of laying on the ground to plug in my trailer connector and also it kept coming disconnected while I was towing so I added this bracket to my 2018 4Runner. You can use the factory mounting holes where the original bracket was installed. I also added two 1” spacers to locate the bracket below the bumper, there is just enough harness length also(had to remove clip from frame rail) I also drilled a new hole in the bracket so it would be perpendicular to the bumper. I ordered the bracket from etrailer.com for about $8-9
