I've looked at picking up a 2nd friction bar and me being me, I want the right and left side bars. Go figure the left side bar is more expensive than the standard bar that comes with the kit.
The left and right friction bars are the same just flip it...Don't spend more on a left side one if your going to get one.

X2. The “socket” on the bar is tapered at the top and the receiver holes for the security pins are at the tapered top portion. If installing on the opposite side you have to pull the sliding bar out and turn it over in order to keep the tapered socket upright. That’s easy and takes about ten seconds. The cosmetic lettering will be upside down so if that bothers you just take the decal off.

That kit has a flat steel bracket which is not needed. I think it’s possibly used for use with a non WD hitch head, or whatever.

If you don't have sway issues during crosswinds, passing semis, or quick lane changes, I would stick with what you have. You have better things to do with $600.

For anyone purchasing new, I always recommend integrated sway control.

This is the decision I came to last night. Im going to purchase a 2nd friction bar and see how I like it this summer. Your absolutely correct, I have better things to spend my money on.. Hell an electric tongue jack for one!!!
