From the manual it states:

“The combined weight of occupants and cargo should never exceed XXX kg OR XXX lb”

The brochure also says something very similar right below the line you quoted.

The driver and a full tank of fuel are already allowed for in the payload capacity. At least on F150 it says so in the manual.

I haven’t seen that. Tow rating includes fuel and driver but I’ve never seen payload capacity include it. I’ll have to check out the Ford manual.

It does not say that in the manual. I have an F-150 and I am looking at the manual right in front of me.

I have a 2010 tundra with the tow package and bought a 2015 windjammer 3008. No problems towing the trailer. I like the tundra as a tv.

My 2010 tundra with the towing package does great pulling my 34’ windjammer. Been in the mountains with it and no issues.
