I also T'd the lines to my Airlift bags. No sway, reduced bounce on my 03 Chevy Duramax. Improved ride dramatically. I ran the lines up into my console with a ball valve and Schrader valve. I can reduce air pressure from the cab after dropping the trailer. I use an auxiliary battery charger from Harbor Freight that has a compressor included.

It gives me the option of having a jump starter and tire inflator if needed. I hook it up
WITH the trailer load on the truck and inflate the bags to 60 psi. Have run this setup close to ten years without issue. I would say the built in compressors are nice, but somewhat complicated installation wise. I have heard stories of failure for them but would be convenient. Those systems also have the bags T'd.
