Air Suspension

I'm thinking about putting air suspension on my Ford F150. My 26' Grey Wolf trailer, 7,500# loaded weight, can change depending on my camping plans. i.e. dry/full hookup. With air suspension, I can add air pressure to level my truck. In particular, my headlights. Anyone care to comment on this idea before I spend $350 bucks?

The bags are great for getting the truck back to a level position. Their other benefit is vastly improved side to side stability.

I have them on my half ton Silverado and love them. They really cut down on the porpoising when driving over undulating road surfaces.

Had them on my F150 and now have them on the F250 King Ranch. Bluetooth remote controller is the only way to go!

I have them on my 2016 F150 and love them. I have the Airlift 1000. Most that put the 5000 series on the f150 said they made the unloaded ride stiff. The 1000 series we made specifically for the F150 and does not hinder my unloaded rided

I've never heard of a down side to adding air bags. It was on the wish list for our '02 Ram 1500 but never happened before we upgraded to our 2500 which is factory rear air bags.

Thanks for taking the time to respond. I purchased the Air Lift 5000 and now I have to install it. I’ll give an update after I use it for awhile.

Sweet. If it's like my 13 the drivers side is a pita with the fuel lines and the passenger side takes 5 minutes to install. I advise doing the driver side first.

Just had the AirLift 5000 installed on my '14 F150. I'm towing a 29IKTS with a Blue Ox WDH. The ride was OK, but the front end felt light and it was definitely "wavy" on bumpy roads. First time with the bags I inflated them first, then the WDH. The ride was worse than before, next time did the WDH then filled the bags. Night and day! The ride was pretty much normal, which was great. Very happy!
