Yes, lots of posts about them. Please try the search function and search for Andersen (Not Anderson) WDH. I use one with our trailer and am very happy with it, would definitely buy it again.

I have one as well. Very pleased with it for several reasons.

X2 on the search.

We have been using ours for the past year, worthy investment, very light, easy to setup and disconnect.

I used an Andersen hitch for years and loved it! Stupidly, I sold it with my trailer when I downsized, even though the buyer was going to park the trailer and live in it.

Upsizing again, so I'll be buying a new Andersen hitch.

Many people love them. I tried one on a long trip and hated it. Hated enough not to want anyone else to put up with it so took it to recycle..

What exactly did you hate about it? Just curious.

Had mine since 13 and love it! Their customer service has been excellent any time I needed anything!!! To me that’s as important as the hitch operation/function!!

I've used the Andersen chain hitch for 5 years and had no problems. You can disconnect within three minutes after arrival and TV is free to go. A reliable and effective hitch.

I agree with the other users of Andersen WDH, it is the best thing going. I have been using it for 3 years and 10,000 miles of trailering. You don't get your hands dirty, it is a fraction of the weight of others, and no noise.

That is a very expensive recycling run.

What did you not like about it... for posterity.

One of my favorite things about the Andersen is the ability it quickly change the hitch for significant changes in the load. We pack differently depending on the trip.

We chose the Andersen

As others have noted - many reasons to like it. For us, the ease of hooking and unhooking was the major item. It only takes a few minutes with a 1/2" ratchet to set up and adjust the hitch. Yes, the sway control works, too.

We have a 34' ~9000 lb TT that we pull with an Andersen. The anti-sway is better than our Husky Centerline. My wife is the driver and she is comfortable with it going down the road. Hook and unhook operations are simpler and safer. My wife can pick up and store the hitch head herself and she likes that. Even with a 3/4 ton truck, we have to crank some tension on the chains which effectively transfers weight back to the steer axle. What;s not to like?

Like others have said it's a great hitch, no sway, if you have the right TV . it will not make up for having to small a TV for a large TT . 9300 loaded toyhauler over 30,000 miles in 5 yrs without issue . Andersen customer service is great and when they update parts they send the new parts free of charge .

Tow a 10,000 toy hauler. Sometimes loaded to the max and other times with very little cargo. Can easily adjust my tension with the socket to get the proper WD. Have towed in the mountains near Yellstone and on the prairies of the Dakota's. Never have had sway from any cross winds or semi passings. Their customer service is second to none. Sent me replace parts overnight while on the road at no cost (with no complaints...). Highly recommend them.

Andersen user here. Been using it for 6 years now roughly. Great customer service and easy to setup and unhitch. I can't say it transfers weight or reduces sway compared to others because this is my first WDH but I really don't feel sway and for our needs it works flawlessly.
