Automated safety hitch??

I just saw one of these in another topic and decided to google them a bit. The first thing I noticed is this must be a game changer when it comes to payload since all the weight is on the ASH. Also I would think it also adds stability since you have another axle. Sway would be eliminated because of the physics, but 5th donít usually sway anyways. They also have built in hydraulic brakes so braking must be better. Videos show people backing them up no problem and turning way sharper. So does anyone own one, are they still around and how good are they? Just curious. The pic I stole from another thread.

There’s a family in the Fulltime Families group that I’m in that has one. I forget his reasoning why he got it.

He said that from an operational perspective, he loves it.

He said that the company itself was a nightmare to get it and it nearly came to legal action to either get his money back or get the product delivered. He gave a deadline of a certain day by midnight and the ASH owner ended up delivering it at like 11pm.

He said because of the company’s dealings, he’s not sure he’d recommend it. But the product itself exceeded his expectations.
