Battery Charger/Maintainer for Toad

I'm using a Brake Buddy on my Sonic, so the ignition is in the on position while I tow. On a long trips, I often don't unhook and drive the car if we're just stopping overnight, but pull the BB back from the pedal and idle the engine 15-20 minutes. I find that after 2 days without driving around the battery is too flat to crank the engine. It goes down to around 11V.

First off, I'm replacing the car battery this week, as it's old and abused.

Going forward I'm thinking of buying a little battery charger/maintainer to plug into the campground AC on nights we don't unhook and drive somewhere. This guy is 6 amp and will plug into my always on 12V outlet, I don't even have to pop the hood.

Any expert advice on my plan? Think it will work?
