Ditto! When I first got my truck, the first thing I did was get the bed sprayed with LineX. The second thing I did was install the Revolver X2 that I had ordered online while the truck was getting sprayed. GREAT cover which held the 8+ inches of snow no problem until I cleared it off.

Bakflip with the integrated rack system is my choice: https://bakflip.com/bakflip-cs-tonneau-cover.html

This picture is from Nov., 2013 and the cover and rack system look and operate like new today. Yes, this is a bit more expensive but, since I have a TT, I use the racks for windsurfing and kayaking equipment. i heartily endorse Bakflip.

Cool

I went with the BakFlip MX4 on my new truck.

One reason is it matches the bed rails on the Ford like it was a factory design and it might be why Ford sells it out of their parts departments.

I have a 5-1/2' bed so when it is folded all the way against the glass I can still see out but on the longer beds I don't think you can.

If you just fold it up enough to get to your 5th wheel hitch it would be flat and not sticking up.

When it is closed it is locked (with tailgate lock) and has been 100% waterproof.

I was leery about it being waterproof but after Hurricane Harvey dumped almost 30" of rain on us in a few days my doubts were laid to rest.

I was looking at a cheaper model since I didn't want to spend as much as they were being advertised for until someone sent me a PM about Real Truck accessories in Florida. Their price was about 30% cheaper than anywhere else I had looked.

I would suggest contacting Zach or Stephen at RealTruck.com and talk with them.

Their customer service is second to none as well. I mistakenly ordered the MX4 and Bed Rug for a 6-1/2' bed and they sent pick up notices for it and shipped me the right ones as soon as UPS picked up the others!

I use an Undercover Flex. ...and I have a Bedrug as well (with cutouts for the hitch pins)....in a standard 6'6" bed. I can fold it back flat and tow my fifth wheel with no problem whatsoever. It does not have to go all the way against the rear window of the cab....so visibility remains. I had to flip the 5th wheel handle over so it was not sticking up and banging the underside of the tonneau cover when closed.....and I use a bungee cord to keep the hitch from bouncing around.

I've had my new F-350 for a couple of months and I can't make a decision. I've owned Bak products before and have some friends with the MX4. On a long bed, the folds get pretty heavy/clumsy once you get near the cab. Also, folding against the window is not preferable if loading larger items.

I've seriously considered the Ford branded Rev rolling cover. I also like the Peragon. Might be waiting for Peragon to start paint matching their covers again.

Fold a Cover. The best but pricey.

Well i purchased the Bakflip MX4!
I like the sturdy design and that it lays flush with the box bed rails. We will see how it goes!
Thanks to everyone that responded!

Please keep us informed on how you like it. As I said, I have the G2 and am mostly happy with it, but I saw the MX4 and really like it. If my repair doesn't work, I might get one also.

I have used earlier models (previous and current rig) and have been happy. I think you will be pleased, but curious to hear your post-install opinions.

The install was very easy!! So far i think its going to be good!! The only down side I see so far is, it is a little heaty when all 4 panels are folded up. I will get use to it!!

Yep...they're heaty (heavy) alright. I've never had an issue, but I am getting older. It looks great.

Thinking about a Bedlocker from Pace Edwards vs a Retrax Pro manual. Any experience?

I had a Retrax bed cover on the last truck i owned and really like it, except for the storage room you loose in bed front because of the roll up canister!
