Bike rack for Sunseeker 2390 TS

I have tried searching, but haven't come up with ideas for our RV. The bumper is fibreglass and we have read that it's not safe to mount a roof ladder that we could attach a bike rack.

Has anyone found a workaround that won't void the warranty? We're thinking we may need to install a bumper of some sort.

Thanks!

Might need to have a trailer hitch welded to the frame.

Photos of the back of your RV might help us.

I have always installed a front hitch and carried my bikes on the front of my MH's where I can see them. They do not block air flow, headlights or vision. Places like etrailer.com sell the front hitch. Attach any bike .
This also keeps the added weight of the hitch, bike rack and bikes off the rear axle.

we have the 2017,

what i did was order a rear hitch from curt hitches,

they make a class 3, adjustable that fits perfectly under the fiberglass bumper,

bolted it to the frame extentions, all heavy duty hardware, i actually added 2 pieces of angle iron to bolster the connection,

had to drill a few holes to match up with existing holes,

when we bought the rig it was rated for pulling 2000#, ( FR has since clarified that the rig can not be used to tow, anything,

i would never pull anything with it but it can certainly carry tongue weight of a few hundred lbs.
we bought and use a box, but can put a rack on if we want.

love the extra carrying ability. we just plan to keep the weight below 500 total. no problem

I will try to send a couple of pics, if i can figure out how to?
good luck

We have a Malone Pilot hitch that is well built and quite rugged. Love 'em in the Keys !
