Blue Ox Patriot failure - need advice
On Saturday, April 18th my Blue Ox Patriot locked up after about 5 hours while traveling in TN. I drove the rest of the way from OH to TX without it. Called Blue Ox who told me the "A04" error code meant hard drive failure. They had one FedExed to me in two days. I put the new on in and started home today. The same thing happened after about 3 hours of driving and just after getting off the fwy, the alarm sounded and the error message flashed. Sure enough, this one had locked up also. (The actuator rod stuck in the fully extended position.) Just as an aside, I run 12v power direct to the Patriot from the motorhome. Does anyone have any ideas of the cause, or could it just be a coincidence?
