Brake Buddy Vantage Select question

PLEASE......For those with model listed above

I suspect the Brake Buddy unit may be applying the brakes in my toad too hard and too long. I have just over 50,000kms (30,000miles) showing on the odometer and I’m having brake shudder when driving and using my brakes.

If it turns out that the rotors are warped, I suspect it’s from being towed as opposed to day to day usage. I say this because I live rurally, do mostly highway driving for the bulk of my mileage, and I’m EXTREMELY gentle on my brakes.

My toad weighs approximately 3800 lbs, I set the pressure at 50psi according to chart, I set it for “proportional” versus “full” braking at level 5.

Have I got the sensitivity set too high? Any input?

It could be from the braking. But knowing the poor quality metal they use nowadays, I’m going to say at that mileage and your light braking has caused the shutter. You have too much pad material embedded onto the rotor. This will cause the shudder.
