I replaced my Valley Odyssey with a Prodigy 2, thinking the Odyssey was going bad as my brakes were loosing efficiency. The brakes performed the same with the new Prodigy.....come to find out my magnets had grease on them, and the brakes were out of adjustment. The Valley Odyssey worked just as well as the Prodigy 2, although since I have the Prodigy 2 already installed, I am going to leave it, and sell my Odyssey.
The Prodigy 2 works great, and if you can get wiring harness for your tow vehicle, all the better.

I upgraded from a Voyager to a P3 last year and would never go back. I think the guts are basically the same as the P2 but has the cool display. When I bought mine the price difference was minimal.

a search on various RV forums will get you much more info about the Prodigy, than waiting for others to post about theirs.
that's how i found that the Prodigy was the #1 controller sold and by far, the best one for the price.

Best i've had so far is the factory unit in my 2012 F150. Easy to use/adjust and shows up on the dash screen. Would never want to go back to any add on unit!

I use the Prodigy P3 and wouldn't use anything else! It's slightly over kill for my current set-up, but it will come in handy down the road. My opinion is, buy the best you can once and your done!

P3 all the way here, I use it on the V-Lite and my 18ft flat deck with minimal requirement to adjust as I usually haul abt 8000lb of water per load on the deck.

+1....just got home from the NC mountains on our maiden voyage, and it worked flawlessly. Was also impressed with the 6 speed auto in tow haul mode downshifting automatically as the brakes are applied.
Good stuff...

I bought a P3 back in May, and have used it one outing.
Last month I discovered a garbled display when I wanted to use it in diagnostic mode to read my alternator's output (a real nice feature of the P3's diagnostics, BTW).
Called Prodigy's customer support to find out the warranty requirements. Simple answer, "Lifetime, just send it back". They just sent me a completely new one rather than fix mine, and I'm back in business. Can't beat that!
Smooth stops, and not a hint of "push" or "pull".
I could not wish for more.
