Camper recommendation

I tow with a Sierra 1500. What campers do you recommend that I can tow that has a queen bed and 4 bunks?

You're need to provide way more information than just Sierra 1500. They come in all kinds of different specs and equipment.
Post pics of the axle spec sticker and the payload sticker. Both should be on the driver's door. Post cab size, bed size, 4x2 or 4x4, trim level, engine size and so on.
We need to to know the limitations of your truck.

I'll post specifics tomorrow, I'm more wondering if there are any recommendations for campers like that in the realm of being half ton towable.

I’d take a look at the Coachmen Apex 300BHS.

It’s 7,600 lbs GVWR and being only 10’1” tall will help reduce wind sail vs an 11+ foot tall trailer

Almost all manufacturers offer many models/floorplans to accomodate many different situations. First you need to decide what your requirements are, and then start your shopping. You must determine the power and towing/cargo capacity of your tow vehicle. Then how many people wil be in the vehicle when towing. I assume you have four children. Take into consideration the weight of the kids plus yourself and spouse when calculating cargo weight.

Price doesn't always mean practical. Yeah, some of them are pretty, but are they what you need? If you have a corral full of kids and/or pets, you might want something that will handle a little tougher environment. There are good family oriented rigs out there, but beware of poorly manufactured units. I am not going to dis any company on these forums, but you should do some research before buying anything nowadays. Take your time. You need something your family will be comfortable in. Lots of folks make that mistake right off and end up with something they really didn't want.

Good luck.

A camper with a max weight rating that would be around 75% - 80% of your TVs max towing rating. This is just a recommendation I chose to go by. Our current setup our TT weighs less than 50% of what our TV is rated for. I tend to overkill everything I do though.
