I get 71 Sq feet frontal area
For a full height and width tt you need a full size tv the smallest to look at is the half ton trucks and suvs
I love towing with my 99 suburban k1500 plenty of payload and heavy towing package

Yeah I got 71 also. If you go to fords 2005 towing guide (I chose this year because I don't have much budget for TV.)anyhow, on their 2005 towing guide you will see ford doesn't recommend towing over 60sq ft on any of their F series up to and including F550.

While I've come to believe the frontal area is too much for my grand caravan, I'm having trouble putting too much stock in this rating. This is a 16 foot less than 3000 lb trailer, who wouldn't think they could pull it with an F350???

I like the G. Cherokee because I can find lower miles/ better conditions. Jeep lists tow ratings of G. Cherokee with tow group as follows: (with 4.7 V8) GTW 6500lbs/ max tongue wt. 720/ frontal area limit 60sq. ft. They advertise them towing Airstreams. I'd like a half ton but would prefer a rust free < 200000 mile truck...

I'm still researching this issue, I was hoping there was some adjustment for the aerodynamics of the camper that lowered the frontal rating to 60sq' but I can't find this info anywhere on the web. I may try to contact Coachman/ viking and seek their input on the frontal area. I haven't purchased the G. Cherokee yet, but so far feel much better about this vehicle a my TV. over the Minivan..

Thanks again everybody for your input, this has been a good conversation. please feel free to add more input, I'll keep checking it for more advice!

NOTE:
Whenever I calculate frontal area (which is measured in sq-ft, not feet), I do NOT include ground clearance. So don't use the full height of the camper. Subtract about 1.5 feet from the height. So your 9.5ft high camper would be around 8ft of frontal height. 8ft x 7.5ft (wide) = 60 sq-ft
