CAT scale and WDH setup

There are probably several hundred threads on this subject, but...

After about 12K miles and 200+ nights with our old setup, then upgrading TT and TV, I've followed the lead of so many senior members on the forum. I have certainly benefited from others who've posted.

Despite all the planning, you don't have the confidence in your capabilities and weight distribution until you go thru the CAT scales and re-examine your WDH setup.

I first scaled loaded and hitched up to hit the road. Then I scaled TV only to see the difference in Front Axle load. When I hitch up, and set the e2 bars, the front raised up approximately 1/2 in. I know that is within the tolerance, but really didn't know the actual weight difference.

What I found is that I can throw a little more weight to the front axle with the WDH. I really don't feel much sway, but have noticed it with 18 wheelers passing.

I know we have plenty of Tow Vehicle for this, but anytime you can improve your weight setup, it's safer for everyone on the road.
