CAT Scale Results

Finally got our fully loaded GeoPro to the CAT scales and have the results. Not how to interpret the results since what I have was not expected. The tow vehicle and trailer were weighed with the EZ lift WDH.

Scale:
Front Axel - 2180 Lbs
Rear Axel - 2780
Trailer Axel - 3120

GAWR:
Front - 2500
Rear - 2352

Occupants + Cargo - 827

GVWR - 4840

Tow Capacity of Car - 3500

Tongue Weight - 312 to 468

Trailer GAWR/PNBE - 1588, 3500
Trailer GVWR/PNBE - 1775

At first glance it appears you need to unload some weight from your TV rear and/or move that weight into the trailer. The TT has the weight capacity to absorb the weight removed from the TV rear axle but it is also a balancing act to maintain a proper tongue weight ratio.
I ran into similar at the CAT Scales. I removed a lot of stuff from both my TV & TT. And I stopped hauling firewood in the TV

At the moment you are over capacity on your Ford Escape Titanium. What model is your GeoPro trailer?

The OP must mean 19QB.
OP, as I have said, in numerous Geo/E-pro threads, many have no clue how much tongue weight a single axle trailer will put on the tow vehicle.
Having a payload of only 827lbs, makes the heavier tongue weights of a single axle m7ch worse.
You're overloading the Escape by a LOT! The fantasy "dry" tongue of 413, already exceeds the Escape's max hitch weight of 350lbs, BEFORE you add the weight of the battery, options, water and cargo.
You should have bought a smaller trailer, as it's too much for an Escape. With that kind of tongue weight, an Explorer is the minimum needed.

Looking at your yellow sticker from the Escape you have 827# for TV cargo. If you travel like we do (DW, two fur balls and some "necessities") that could easily add up to 500# which leaves you with only 327# for the hitch. As others mentioned, once the TT has the batterie(s), propane and living essentials it's easy to imagine your TT tongue weight being over that amount.

Another thing to look at is the frontal area of the trailer. Our old ('01) explorer said max frontal area of 50 sqr ft. What is the frontal area of your trailer? For us, the resistance at highway speed caused by the frontal area was the biggest impact when towing with that combo.
