I don't have a problem with mine on the rear bumper of my 2015 Chevy 2500HD.
However, the pigtail on my 5'ver was kinda long when I bought it and once while backing it in a tight turn, the pigtail got caught on the hitch receiver (no ball mount in it) and it ripped right out of the junction box on the king pin.
Blew a bunch of fuses in the truck (under the hood) and in the trailer.
Not a fun day!
Now I run a bungee cord between the two bed hooks to keep the pigtail from dropping that low, even though it is now 10-inches shorter than it was.
