So I've been doing some research on the new F150's and after doing a little math, I figured that trading in my current truck for an ecoboost would save me a couple hundred a month (without including the gas). So..... I did it! I will be picking up a 2012 F150 ecoboost with all the trailering goodies and a few bells and whistles that my last truck did not have. I can't wait. It's like opening a big boy present on Xmas morning.
New truck is a CC, 6.5 box, ecoboost, trailer package, back up camera, trailer tow mirrors, remote start, tailgate step and FX4 with leather. Picking it up on the weekend. I will post pics after I pick it up. I'll also keep post any improvements in mileage over the 5.4.
SWEET!! I totally drool over that back up camera!! I hope to get my new truck in another year or so.
That sure is purdy. Make sure you keep your tailgate locked as they are a pretty attractive item to take off with, especially the ones with the step and camera or get the Jimmy Jammerz tailgate protector.
