Getting a class C RV and need advice on towing a car.

Then come back with specific questions. It first looks overwhelming, because it is overwhelming. Towing a car is not as simple as towing a trailer.

You mentioned “towing a CRV” in your title. Check the above guides for what model years with automatic transmissions are compatible with flat towing. Late model CRVs cannot be flat towed with their CVT transmission.

We have a 2014 SunSeeker and tow a CR-V. In fact we have two CR-Vs set up for flat towing. Long story, but we set up the 2013 for flat tow and a couple years later found a used 2012 in great condition already set up with base plate and lights. All I had to do on the 2012 was add the breakaway for my RVI brake. Looking for another daily drive we brought this 2012. CR-Vs work great for us. As mentioned, newer CR-Vs (2015 and newer) can not be flat towed. Not sure what Class C you have but I have seen many CR-vs towed behind a class C. Just need to check GCVW limits. As mentioned also, do diligence in researching make and model of any vehicle you are thinking about towing.
