"Hitch House Sarasota"... I'll remember that. We spend December in Nokomis. Always good to have a quality local shop.

What happens if my Bedrug product gets wet?

What happens if my Bedrug product gets wet? Will water get underneath and cause my bed to rust?

Much like a life vest, BedRug's closed-cell polymer construction can't hold water - it runs right off. The paint in the bed of your truck is designed to shed water the same way the rest of the paint on your vehicle does. The BedRug works in conjunction with your factory drain holes to remove any residual moisture. Unlike spray-in liners which scuff the paint before application and drop-in liners that can scuff and scratch the bed with use, the BedRug's non-abrasive backing will not compromise the integrity of your paint and in turn will not cause your truck bed to rust.

Did you consider the bed rug xlt? It does the bed AND the tailgate and better yet, the gap between!! Which is where the screws fall for ANY project seem to fall NEVER to be seen again! Lol!
Not a lot more than the individual pieces but nice when together like that!!

I was looking at those bed rugs , stated that only to be used for drop in bed liners . also reviews had some of them melting from sunlight and heat . ended up getting 2 2'x6' anti fatigue mats 1/2 thick memory foam with my inside the bed tool box these fit perfect . of course i always have a full sheet of plywood down then the tool box and these mats for crawling around back there . Still waiting on my topper to show another week or 2 . then again i don't have a 5th wheel hitch .

Bedrug Liner

I've had this Bedrug in my F-150 since new.

https://bedrug.com/bedrug-classic-be...010/ford/f-150

Both the Bedrug and my pickup bed are still as new. I've pulled back the Bedrug and not a scratch or rust to be seen. I've hauled mulch, rocks, construction supplies with no damage. Before I put my topper on, I've cleaned the Bedrug at the local DIY car wash - made it clean as new. It helps keeps items from sliding around in the bed and another advantage is that with the topper on, I can crawl in and out without hurting my knees

The tailgate mat is nice but iso you are aware it’s not padded. But still. Is a great addition.

I've been considering this option for my 2018 Ram full size bed. Especially since I have a Tonneau cover already.
Looks like they offer 3 options. A full on kit with sides, floor, tailgate and all. A little pricey. Then the one I'm interested for half the price of the full kit is the floor/tailgate attached kit. The final option is just a floor carpet that you could add the tailgate piece later if you want. For someone that removes the tailgate often this would be a good option.
I found this one that fits me on Amazon and they list a good description that may help answer some questions.

Very nice, clean install. Great job. Does your truck have a rear view camera mounted on that brake light above the rear window and will you still be able to use it with the MX4 tonneau propped up? My 2016 doesn’t have a camera mounted up there so I chose a roll up tonneau.

It does have the rear bed camera on the light ... but I would never need the top all way leaned back when towing I might lean it for unloading ... it would block the camera ... folded back plenty of run to see out and use camera

Frank, are you saying you won’t need to flip it up against the back window to connect the 5er to your hitch? I was thinking you’d have to have it flipped up when connected and towing.

Correct it will lay flat and tie down with provided straps .... only lift and lean against rear glass for full access to unload anything stored against the cab ... there are 4 panels and I fold 3 times and they lay on top of 4th (8 foot bed) I will get picture when I hook up on Tuesday ...
