i ALMOST went ahead and pulled the trigger on a 14, but after talking with my dealers i think the 15 is worth the wait....all of the improvements i have seen on the 450 DIRECTLY relate to towing improvements. bigger turbo at less boost, no more wastegate, tranny improvements, frame improvements, driveline improvements.....honestly, if my current 3/4 ton had the rating i would use it....i have absolutely ZERO complaints with about 4000 miles of towing, mostly in the mountains and/or 100+ degree weather.....(sure id like better mpg, but its NEVER good enough).

but while i wait, ill be yanking my lacrosse all around and enjoying the outdoors with my current 250.LOL

I'm going almost nuts waiting for the '15 release to see if I'm going to work that or take advantage of '13 or '14 F350's being traded in.

ya know i got my 12 at the end of the year, and i had to order it, but i still got the same incentives they had at the time for the 11 year model......maybe it was a dealer thing?? also i get my vehicles on x plan so the price is set.....

in any case im getting a 15 platinum 450 dually with the 19.5 wheels in tux black........already done made my mind up...LOL....aint like a vehicle is an investment anyway......kinda like these new 30k trailers we pull that depreciate like a meteorite in the upper atmosphere....haha...it is what it is.....we do it because we enjoy it and it makes us smile......and thats all taht matters....

I agree, I'm looking at a '14 4500 Laramie in black with Acola wheels and want to put a nice hauler bed on it. Not because it's what I need but because I want it and it's my money.

Ive never had good self control of the "need vs want" thing...its funny cuz im normally a pretty cheap guy...but hey if ur spending 36k why not 50k...and whats another 10k if your already spending 50k...my own logic defies me at times....and my wife is no help as she just smiles and knows she can do it too and I cant say a da@m thing!...she just points at my "junk" and says really?....I bow my head In shame and buy her shoes...etc...:-)

Lol...wife got her suv first. ..and it was more than my truck so i AM the conservative one!!...plus mine will actually DO WORK! Where is the utility in these suv's anyway? ?

Ha , rugged.....that twin turbo "sport thing" is a diva and probably cringes at dirt and speed bumps.....I won't lie its kinda fun to drive tho....as long as my friends dont see me...hahah
