Different tire sizes

I'm tire/wheel dumb, so please forgive me if these is a stupid question.

I just replaced all six of my tires on my Sunseeker 3010DS in prep for a 15k mile trip around the country. I asked the tire shop to save me the best one, as I want to mount it on a run and keep as a spare just in case.

I'm towing a jeep wrangler. Then it dawned on me... Can I just rely on the spare my jeep already has and use that in a worst-case bind. They're different sizes. My question is... Can I do that? I'm sure it wouldn't be advised to drive it very long distance with a different size tire, but I don't even know if it would technically work. Thoughts?

The sunseeker is a 225 75 R16. The jeep is 255 75 R17.

Don't forget that the rim has to match what your Sunseeker has also (lug pattern, center bore, offset). Also, aren't the rear wheels dualies? Having different sized tires would probably do a number on your axle. And I don't know enough about the setup, but are all six rims even the same size?

What is the provision for the Sunseeker for a spare anyway? It doesn't come with one?
