Does anyone recognize these brackets ?

Just looking for some help identifying these brackets. I am hoping they are for a weight distribution hitch on the 6500 series VCROSS units.

I had a closer look under my trailer and noticed that there are "factory" installed brackets about 27 inches back from the ball hitch. Does anyone on the forum recognize this as a possible standard bracket mount for an "equal-i-zer" weight distribution hitch. See attached photos I took of my VIBE 6504. Brackets are just under trailer floor.

If they are only on one side of the "A-frame", then they may be a bracket left from some kind of friction-type anti-sway. The newer ones bolt directly on, but some of the older one's varried in how they mounted.

They are on both sides of "A" frame as per the 2 photo's (one for each side). They are likely not "left over from previous anti-sway" as the trailer is a brand new 2013. One of the other VCROSS owners suggested it was likely a "factory install" bracket for an equalizer hitch. I am trying to determine what make & model might fit this custom bracket.

Sorry. Didn't realize the photos were from two different sides. That's what I get for looking at them on the handheld....

Quite possible for equalizer as the distance from the ball seems to be right. I have the equalizer and the only difference I see is that there is a weld instead of bolt at top and it is missing the L bracket.

You can hear what the salesman at the 1:40 mark of this video says about them.

It looks like to me that the bolts would line up for the Equalizer WDH.

Fairly confident that they are brackets for the Equal-i-zer hitch.

thanks...Troyt & Wmtire. You have helped me solve the mystery. It is good to know it will be easy to equip my unit with a weight distribution hitch. First thing on my agenda for the spring trailer prep next year.

Yes, that is part of the Equal-i-zer brand WDH kit. Getting the L-brackets and attachment bolts is easy. But by the time you buy the head unit and spring bars (separately), it would be much cheaper to just buy an entire kit.

I recommend RVWholesalers.com. Around springtime, they usually have a great sale on these.
