Dual Hitch Receiver to Carry Bikes and Tow

I just purchased a Dual receiver hitch so I can carry my bikes and tow with a dolly as well. It's a little scary to me to ad another link that can possible disconnect. Anyone have advice on using this hitch. Thanks.

I use a double hitch receiver to connect a bike rack and a flat towed car to our motorhome. We traveled 1800 miles with it this year, no problems. It had also been used this way on our previous motorhome for at least 3200 miles with no problems.

I do not tow my cargo trailer along with bikes like this, since I wouldn't trust that adapter with much tongue weight. A flat towed car, however, adds almost no tongue weight. I'm not sure how much tongue weight a dolly adds.

I recommend the double hitch adapters with two vertical posts, not just one.

I had also thought of carrying the bikes on the car, not the motorhome, but the Curt hitch I put on the car is just too flimsy to carry two bicycles.
