Equalizer E2 Movement on Sway Control Brackets?

As I state in the video, the Roo 23ss is new to me and came with a different weight distributing setup. I came from the old hanging chain and bar set up.

With this new set up, I've noticed the brackets that hold the bars have a lot of wiggle. Both sides are pretty similar and have plenty of play. Should they have play at all?

I'm not totally familiar with this type so thanks for your input.

Absolutely not! I have the E2 hitch, and the brackets are solid...they don’t move at all. It looks like the holes in the bracket might be elongated.

Thanks. I guess I'll be replacing these parts.

Didn't seem right to me either.
