Equinox/Terrain toad question? Wobble?

This topic has been brought up on occasion.......

************************************************** ******

Has anyone with a Chevrolet Equinox or GMC Terrain ever experienced what has been described as a "Death wobble" while towing?

Please respond yes or no, and what engine did you have...4 or 6 cylinder?

Apparently FWD vs AWD doesn't seem to matter.

Thanks

I have towed our 4 cylinder Equinox about 15,000 miles so far with no issues. Is this something you have experienced?

Haven't towed our Terrain yet, but I have read where some people have experienced the wobble. On this forum and others, it was apparently limited to towing with 4 cylinder models because of the electric power steering instead of traditional hydraulic powered units.

Just asking from owners on this site.

Just did I a lot of reading on it. Clearly it has happened to people and seems like it would be a scary situation. I'll keep rolling and hope I'm not one of the unfortunate ones. Seems like a very small number, but if you're the one, that's enough. Safe travels.
