I find all the adds comical for all the “new” ev vehicles. Waiting lists are up to years! Few deliveries.

Engineers know how long it will be before the batteries will suddenly appear. I doubt 2025. America’s made stuff will be more expensive as well. By 2030 the cost per mile for ev’s will exceed current cost for internal combustion.

I kind of doubt the current government will approve permits in the US for lithium processing. It is nasty. Government will not have car purchase rebates forever.

There will also be a shortage of electricity.

Hope for the best. Plan for yourself.

I believe if there is a need for something and a way to make money from it then there will always be other alternatives.

I don’t believe anyone is waiting for all the Lithium to dry up before looking for other alternatives!

I'm sure every car company is looking for the "next battery". Funy thing about R&D. When one company makes a breakthough there seems to be an avalanche of "new".
