Exclamation F150 upgrade to LR E tires...what air pressure?

I just upgraded my F150 tires to Michelin AT/2 LRE to give the rig a little more stability. I ran 40psi with stock tires not towing and 50 while towing. Michelin says to run 55psi towing or not with the LRE. Our last trip (rainy weather) with the new tires I had 55 front and 60 back. Using tow-haul the back tires slid a bit when down shifting at least twice (downhill)...a bit unnerving. Does anyone have experience with this tire change?

You don't tell us anything about your truck: year, 4wd/2wd, options, engine, etc. You don't tell us anything about what you're towing: make, model, weight, what else you have in your truck, etc. We know almost nothing about the conditions under which you're towing, so it's difficult to give any advice.

The more you share, the better your help will be.

With my 2005 F-150 SCrew 4WD, I would run 75 psi with my E-load when towing a 6,800 lb trailer and around 1,500 lbs of cargo (including tongue weight). When not towing, I would drop psi between 45 - 55.
