fifth wheel hitch

SO I pick up our new 5vr on Saturday Morning.. I looked over the hitches and REALLLY wanted an Anderson, But after learning of some warranty conflicts with that style, I settled on a B&W companion. So The GVWR on ours is supposedly 14K its 11.5 Dry and I believe Keystone does include Propane with that weight from what I read. We typically pack light, so I am imagining about 12.5 MAYBE 13.. But will know for sure once loaded up.
So I am getting a Hitch rated for 16K.. Am I thinking good or should I go larger for a bit more safety factor, like an 18K hitch or something?

No need to go larger than the necessary rated weight unless you plan to get a larger R/V

A 18k hitch on a 12k trailer gives you no benefits.
